Wind energy has been used for hundreds of years. People have used wind energy to move  sailboats  or  airships, in addition, wind energy is also used to create cơmechanical work thanks to windmills.

The idea of ​​using wind energy to produce electricity formed soon after the inventions of electricity and  generators. At first the principle of the windmill was only slightly modified and instead of converting the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy, a generator was used to produce electrical energy. As the discipline of flow mechanics continued to develop, the construction equipment and the shape of the propellers also became more special. These days people call it  wind turbines, the concept of windmills is no longer relevant because they no longer have crushing equipment. Since the oil crises of the 1970s, research into energy production from other sources has been accelerated worldwide, including the development of modern wind turbines.
