At the 19th session, the Session IX Provincial People’s Council approved a Resolution on the Project on sustainable agricultural development and adaptation to climate change in Hau Giang province in the period of 2021 – 2025, with orientation to 2030. Accordingly, the Project The project applies to key and potential agricultural products of the province. Striving to 2025: Building 15 cooperative models and 3 cooperative unions with synchronous investment in infrastructure and comprehensive development, effective operation; building 1 model of providing mechanized services in agriculture and 3 centers for collecting, sorting, preliminarily processing, packing and distributing agricultural products; piloting an effective circular economy model in agricultural production, minimizing negative impacts on the environment, maximizing the regeneration and making use of agricultural wastes to create new products.
